Tras meses de trabajo duro, nos enorgullece comunicar que las Mechas de Retardo fabricadas por Martins & Martins han sido inscritas en el CATEX de Pirotecnia como artículo pirotécnico de categoría P2 y división de riesgo 1.4S. Tanto en bobinas como cortada en formatos.

Se trata de un avance importantísimo que corrige uno de los requisitos más injustos del RAPyC, al pasar a considerar la mecha «portuguesa» como artículo pirotécnico de categoría P2 con número UN 0432.

La empresa Martins & Martins ha realizado un enorme esfuerzo para llegar a este importante cambio y le agradecemos muchísimo la confianza que han depositado en Pyrolab para apoyarles en todo el proceso de cambio.

Agradecemos también a los organismos notificados LOM y TÜV Rheinland los trabajos realizados en este proyecto y al Foro de Organismos Notificados su pronunciamiento en favor de la consideración de la mecha como Mecha de Retardo P2.

After months of hard work, we are proud to announce that the Delaying fuses, manufactured by Martins & Martins have been registered in the Pyrotechnic CATEX as P2 articles and as part of the 1.4S risk division. Both in roll and cut format.

Considering the “portuguese” fuse a P2 category pyrotechnic article with number UN 0432, is a very important achievement that corrects one of the most unfair requirements of RAPyC.

Martins & Martins made a huge commitment to get to this important change and we really want to thank them for trusting Pyrolab in order to help them in all the changing process.

We also want to thank the notified bodies LOM and TÜV Rheinland, for all their work in this project and the Notified Bodies Organization, for their declaration in favour of considering the Delaying Fuse as a P2 article.
